December 20, 2008 – If you are in charge of filling the Christmas socks, you will know that this is the most fun but also the most challenging part of gift giving. Here are some suggestions from our gift guide (see earlier posts)

          Simplicity soy candles (Tealight sets $15; votive gift sets $10.50)

          Soap: Simply (organic & fair trade) or Uptown Tub (glycerine)

          “Needs more Tuna” recipe cards (*extra special – put grandma’s famous fudge recipe on them and put one in each stocking or fill in a set of mom’s famous one-pot wonders to the one who just left the nest)

          All natural honey lip balm ($6)

          Loose magnets ($2)

          Astrological button and magnet sets ($4)

          A handpainted Halifax holiday home ($6 or 3 for $15) for the mantel  (These are great for kids too!)
